Abstract:
Disclosed are a power supply device using a current transformer and a method for operating same. A power supply device using a current transformer according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a capacitor charged on the basis of a charging current corresponding to a secondary current of the current transformer; a first switching unit switched on the basis of a first control signal corresponding to a primary current of the current transformer, and for configuring a first path for the charging current; a second switching unit switched on the basis of a second control signal corresponding to the primary current, and for configuring a second path for the charging current; and a control signal generation unit for generating the first control signal and second control signal corresponding to the primary current.
