Abstract:
Disclosed is a power supply device wherein a first battery pack includes a first battery module and a first control unit. A second battery pack includes a second battery module and a second control unit. The first battery pack and the second battery pack are removably attached to a main body. A start-up managing unit provides start-up instructions such that the first control unit and the second control unit do not start up at same timing. The first control unit that started up earlier operates in normal mode wherein power is supplied from the first battery module to an AC load. The second control unit that started later operates in standby mode wherein power is not supplied from the second battery module to the AC load.
