Abstract:
An uninterruptible power supply device (1) for driving a converter (6) at a relatively high frequency (fH) and directly feeding the voltage (VDC) outputted by the converter (6) to a load (23) when a load current (IL) is higher than a prescribed value (Ic), and driving the converter (6) at a relatively low frequency (fL), boosting the voltage (VDC) outputted by the converter (6) by means of a bidirectional chopper (11), and feeding the boosted voltage to the load (23) when the load current (IL) is lower than the prescribed value (Ic).
