Abstract:
A power supply device according to one embodiment of the present technology comprises: a plurality of secondary battery units that are connected in parallel to each other; and a control unit that controls the electrical discharge of the plurality of secondary battery units. Each of the secondary battery units has a plurality of secondary batteries and a switching unit that switches the connection of the plurality of secondary batteries. The control unit controls the switching unit so as to switch, from a parallel connection to a series connection, the connection between an arbitrary first secondary battery that is from among the plurality of secondary batteries and at least one second secondary battery that is from among the plurality of secondary batteries excluding the first secondary battery.
