A power supply modulation device (1) is configured so as to comprise: a detection unit (12) that detects, from a first digital signal, a first amplitude which is the amplitude of a first analog signal imparted to a first amplifier (4), and that detects, from a second digital signal, a second amplitude which is the amplitude of a second analog signal imparted to a second amplifier (5); a load modulation assessment unit (15) that calculates a time differential value for the ratio of the first amplitude to the sum of the first amplitude detected by the detection unit (12) and the second amplitude detected by the detection unit (12), and that, on the basis of the time differential value for said ratio, assesses whether the output impedance of a synthesis circuit (6) changes in conjunction with changes in the power of signals after synthesis by the synthesis circuit (6), which synthesizes the first analog signal after being amplified by the first amplifier (4) and the second analog signal after being amplified by the second amplifier (5); and a power-supply voltage control unit (18) that, in accordance with the assessment results of the load modulation assessment unit (15), controls the power-supply voltage respectively supplied to the first amplifier (4) and the second amplifier (5).
