Abstract:
Provided are a power supply system and a charging station provided with a lithium-ion capacitor (LIC) as a new DC power supply, thereby taking advantage of the characteristics thereof. A power supply system that is provided with a first power supply and a DC power supply and supplies power to a load system, wherein the DC power supply includes an LIC and supplies power to the load system by discharge from the LIC, and a charging facility for charging the LIC has: a charging electrode plate for charging an electric charge along with the potential difference between an installation position and a ground contact point; an LIC that electrically connects to the charging electrode plate and moves the charge that has been charged on the charging electrode plate to accumulate said charge; a switch that is provided between the charging electrode plate and the LIC and is provided so as to be able to cut off the electric connection between the charging electrode plate and the LIC; an electrode plate voltage calculation unit for obtaining the voltage of the charging electrode plate or the amount of charge that is charged on the charging electrode plate; and a control unit that controls the opening and closing of the switch according to the voltage of the charging electrode plate or the charge amount of the charging electrode plate obtained by the electrode plate voltage calculation unit, and moves the charge that has been charged on the charging electrode plate to the LIC.
