Abstract:
Provided are a power supply system, an electronic device, and a power supply method which are capable of reliably preventing an abnormal termination from occurring, even when a supply of external power is cut off in a device that does not have a battery having an effective voltage. The present invention is provided with: a selection unit 13 which selects one from among a first feeding unit 11 and a second feeding unit 21; a first voltage determination unit 141 which compares an output voltage from the first feeding unit 11 with a first threshold value; a second voltage determination unit 142 which compares an output voltage from the second feeding unit 21 with a second threshold value; and a management unit 15 which allows the selection unit 13 to select the first feeding unit 11 receiving external power and sets the first threshold value to be higher than the second threshold value under a first condition where there is not a first battery 12 having an effective battery voltage, and which allows the selection unit 13 to select the second feeding unit 21 receiving the external power and sets the second threshold value to be higher than the first threshold value under a second condition where there is not a second battery 22 having the effective battery voltage.
