Abstract:
Provided is a power supply system that suitably maintains or controls output and increases overall power generation efficiency even if, among a plurality of power sources, there is a power source with fluctuating optimal output voltage such as a solar cell. Provided is a power supply system including a DC power supply mechanism that supplies DC power, a DC power storage mechanism that stores DC power, and a DC output end that outputs the DC power supplied from one or both of the DC power supply mechanism and the DC power storage mechanism to a DC load, wherein the output of the DC power supply mechanism and the DC output end are connected directly or via a reverse current prevention mechanism, the input/output ends of the DC power storage mechanism and the DC output end are connected directly or via a reverse current prevention mechanism, and the target voltage of the DC power supply mechanism and the terminal voltage of the DC power storage mechanism coincide within a prescribed compatible voltage range.
