Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a power supply system capable of supplying power with high efficiency to a power-receiving section from a power-supplying section, while suppressing a reduction in transmission efficiency caused by misalignment of the central axes of a power supply-side coil and power receiving-side coil. [Solution] Two power supply-side helical coils (7a, 7b) are provided. If the power receiving-side helical coil (8) is arranged opposite to and separate from the two power supply-side helical coils (7a, 7b) in the central axis direction thereof, power from the power supply-side helical coils (7a, 7b) is transmitted by electromagnetic resonance with the power supply-side helical coils (7a, 7b). A CPU (11) detects which of the two power supply-side helical coils (7a, 7b) is positioned closest to the power receiving-side helical coil (8) and identifies the closest power supply-side helical coil as the proximate coil, and the CPU (11) performs on/off control of switches (10a, 10b) in such a way that power is supplied solely to the detected proximate coil.
