Abstract:
A power switch device (100) supplies or cuts off a power source to a load (14) operated by a direct current power source (2) that is located upstream of power source supply lines (12, 13)), which are provided with a ripple capacitor (15) for stabilizing the supply voltage against fluctuations in the load current of the load (14). A MOSFET (21) for causing the direct current power source (2) to be switched on or off is provided between the direct current power source (2) and the power source supply lines (12, 13). The power source of the power switch device (100) is transitioned from off to on by gradually increasing the output voltage of the MOSFET (21) to minimize the value of a charging current directed towards the ripple capacitor (15).
