Abstract:
Provided is a power tool configured so that the breakage of a power transmission mechanism can be prevented. This power tool is provided with: a motor 67 having a rotating shaft 67B; a spindle 606; an intermediate shaft 602 located between the rotating shaft 67B and the spindle 606; a plurality of pulleys having a first pulley 601 which rotates with the rotating shaft 67B, and also having a second pulley 603 through which the intermediate shaft 602 is extended and which is formed to have a greater diameter than the first pulley 601, the plurality of pulleys being configured so that each of a plurality of pairs of pulleys holds a corresponding one of a plurality of belts so that the belt can move around the pair of pulleys; and a transmission limiting section which is provided in a transmission path for transmitting the rotation of the second pulley to a cutting blade and which blocks or limits the transmission of rotational force.
