Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a power train supporting structure for a vehicle 1 that has a transversely mounted engine 10, wherein influence on the vehicle interior can be suppressed even if the vehicle 1 is provided with a transfer gear assembly 30.
[Solution] Provided is a power train supporting structure for a vehicle 1 that is provided with a power train 7 comprising: a transversely mounted engine 10 having a rotation axis extending in the direction of the width of the vehicle 1; a transmission 20 for transmitting the output of the transversely mounted engine 10 to front wheels 3; and a transfer gear assembly 30 for transmitting the output of the transmission 20 to rear wheels 6, the vehicle 1 being further provided with a rear mount bracket 70 for connecting the rear part of the power train 7 and a suspension cross member 43. The power train supporting structure for the vehicle 1 is characterized in that the power train supporting structure is configured so that the front part of the rear mount bracket 70 is connected to the transfer gear assembly 30 at a position below drive shafts 2, the position being vertically defined relative to the vehicle and being located where the transmission 20 and the transfer gear assembly 30 overlap each other in the width direction of the vehicle.
