Abstract:
A power transformer having a circularly inserted silicon steel strip as a magnetic core, applicable to a capacity range from 30 kVA to 1600 kVA, at least comprises one winding/magnetic core module (100) and an insulating support apparatus (400). The module further comprises at least two winding components (120). Each winding component separately comprises a coaxially nested inner winding and outer winding (121, 122) formed by winding glass fiber-insulated copper wires respectively around an inner ceramic frame and an outer ceramic frame (123, 124). Central axes of inner cavities (131, 132) of the winding components are connected head to tail and form a ring shape. The winding components are positioned on a dedicated machine tool. A silicon steel strip is inserted in and runs through the inner cavities to form a magnetic core (150), with respective inner windings and outer windings covering around the circularly inserted magnetic core. Next, annealing is performed on the entirety at 750°C to 800°C, followed by immersion in a flame-retardant insulating coating, and drying, thereby obtaining the winding/magnetic core module. By mounting the insulating support apparatus thereto, a power transformer having a circularly inserted silicon steel strip as a magnetic core is obtained. Compared with a laminated magnetic-core transformer in the prior art, the present invention saves both materials and working hours significantly when similar materials are employed. In addition, transformer efficiency is improved, a volume and a weight are reduced, and flux leakage and operation noise of a core are also reduced.
