Abstract:
A power transmission device for a vehicle, wherein a boss part (55) of a clutch guide (51) which is an input-side rotation member of a clutch device (5) includes: a spline part (55a) that is spline-coupled to a small-diameter part (4c) at one end of a center shaft (4) which is an input shaft; and a mating part (55b) that extends from the spline part (55a) in the axial direction and makes contact with the outer circumference of a medium-diameter part (4b) of the center shaft (4). A notch (9) which functions as a torque fuse is formed at the medium-diameter part (4b) of the center shaft (4) corresponding to the mating part (55b). Thus, when the center shaft (4) is cut with the notch (9), the medium-diameter part (4b) of the cut center shaft (4) remains within the mating part (55b), so centering is ensured, the axis of rotation of the clutch device (5) does not shift, and stable self-propulsion is ensured.
