Abstract:
A power transmission device (25) includes a boss section (73), a spline shaft (80), a rotational force transmission section (71), and a housing (90). The boss section (73) has spline grooves (76) in the inner peripheral surface thereof. The spline shaft (80) fits to the spline grooves. The rotational force transmission section (71) is joined to the boss section (73) or the spline shaft (80). The housing (90) includes: an oil sump section (97) for accommodating lubricating oil; an oil inlet passage (93) for introducing the lubricating oil into the oil sump section (97); and an oil discharge passage (99) for discharging the lubricating oil contained in the oil sump section (97). The oil sump section (97) is in communication with the portion where the spline shaft (80) and the spline grooves (76) are fitted to each other. The oil discharge passage (99) is located above the lower end of the spline grooves (76).
