Abstract:

A power transmission device (A) having an input shaft (1) for receiving a power and an output shaft (2) for outputting a power connected to each other through gears (6a) to (6), characterized by comprising a worm (5a) connected to the input shaft (1), a worm wheel (5b) formed so as to be engageable with or disengageable from the worm (5a) and connected to the output shaft (2) through a counter gear (6b), and a drive member (9) moving the worm wheel (5b) so as to be engageable with or disengageable from the worm (5a).
