Abstract:
This power transmission device, which cuts off torque that drives a vehicle, comprises: a clutch including a rotational solid capable of receiving torque and rotating about an axis, a clutch member that engages with the rotational solid and can move in an axial direction, and clutch teeth capable of connecting the clutch member and transmitting the torque; a solenoid that generates a magnetic flux in response to power input; a stator that is coupled to the solenoid so as to guide the magnetic flux and is stopped from rotating around the shaft; a rotor that is disposed so as to receive the magnetic flux from the stator and that causes rotational motion around the axis due to the received magnetic flux; and a conversion mechanism that is drivenly connected to the rotor and that converts the rotational motion into linear motion in a direction along the axis, the conversion mechanism including a thrust member that transmits the linear motion to the clutch member.
