Abstract:
To stably transmit power through friction between a drive roller and a driven roller, and to reduce the size of the power transmission mechanism. A power transmission roller provided with a roller main body (2) in contact with a drive roller (D) and a driven roller (S), an oscillating shaft (3) secured to a vehicle-body side, an oscillating arm (4) arranged on the inside-diameter side of the roller main body (2) and provided so as to oscillate freely on the oscillating shaft (3), a roller bearing (5) for allowing the roller main body (2) to rotate freely, a pair of shafts (6, 6) for guiding a receiving member (7) in a direction such that the receiving member (7) comes into contact with and separates from the oscillating arm (4), a sliding member (8) interposed between the oscillating arm (4) and the receiving member (7), and a pair of urging members (9, 9) interposed between the oscillating arm (4) and the sliding member (8).
