Abstract:
A power transmitting device for transmitting power to a power receiving device is characterized by comprising: a power transmitting unit (110) for transmitting power in a noncontact manner at the resonant frequency having a predetermined relationship with the resonant frequency of a power receiving part of the power receiving device; a data receiving unit (112) for receiving, from the power receiving device, random values generated in the power receiving device every time when the power transmitting unit (110) starts to transmit power; and a control unit (117) for controlling to determine whether all the random values satisfy a predetermined condition or not and to, when the predetermined condition is satisfied, continue to transmit power via the power transmitting unit (110) and otherwise, temporarily stop and then resume the power transmission via the power transmitting unit (110), receive a new random value from the power receiving device via the data receiving unit (112), and repeat the following until a new random value satisfies the predetermined condition: temporarily stopping and subsequently resuming the power transmission and receiving a new random value via the data receiving unit (112).
