Abstract:
A wheelchair control device (100) of a power wheelchair (1) functionally comprises: a signal reception unit (131) for receiving a range detection signal from a sensor unit (200); a relative distance calculation unit (132) for acquiring a detected distance, based on detection results, from the sensor unit (200) to a peripheral object; a collision time calculation unit (133) for calculating the relative speed of the power wheelchair (1) relative to the peripheral object on the basis of the relative distance therebetween at different times; and a control signal output unit (134) for outputting, on the basis of the calculated collision time and to a power wheelchair actuation unit (300), a control signal for controlling the speed of the power wheelchair (1).
