Abstract:
A PPS composite material having ultra-high elongation at break and a preparation method therefor, the PPS composite material comprising the following components in parts by weight: 50-95 parts of PPS resin, 0.5-8 parts of montmorillonite, 3-30 parts of toughening agent, and 0.1-2 parts of antioxidant, the PPS resin being an acidified linear PPS resin. In the PPS composite material, the addition of a small amount of montmorillonite having a multi-layer structure to the acidified PPS toughening system enables the elongation at break to reach more than 30%; and in addition, the obtained PPS product not only has excellent bending resistance, but also has good appearance and white color.
