Abstract:
Provided is a pre-coat aluminum plate for fins of a heat exchanger and a heat exchanger, the pre-coat aluminum plate having exceptional hydrophilicity over prolonged periods of time and exceptional performance in regard to condensation sliding off therefrom. Frost is adequately prevented from adhering to the pre-coat aluminum plate, and is exceptionally easy to remove. The pre-coat aluminum plate (1), which has a substrate (2) comprising aluminum and a hydrophilic coating film (3) formed on at least one surface of the substrate (2); and the heat exchanger, which is provided with fins comprising the pre-coat aluminum plate (1). In the pre-coat aluminum plate (1), the surface roughness RzL of the hydrophilic coating film (3) in the direction X parallel to the rolling direction of the substrate (2) and the surface roughness RzLT of the hydrophilic coating film (3) in the direction orthogonal to the rolling direction of the substrate (2) are such that RzL≦1.5 μm, 0.3 μm≦RzLT≦2.5 μm, and RzL/RzLT≦0.9. The contact angle α between the hydrophilic coating film (3) and a water droplet (19) is 25° or less, and the falling angle β of a water droplet (19) from the hydrophilic coating film (3) in the direction X parallel to the rolling direction is 20° or less.
