Abstract:
A pre-distortion distortion compensation amplifying apparatus provides high-precision distortion compensation by compensating distortions occurring in amplifiers (9,10) by use of pre-distortion system. Distribution means (1) distributes two signals. Distortion compensation distortion producing means (2-4) produces a distortion for distortion compensation from one of the two signals distributed from the distribution means (1). Distortion adjusting means (6) adjusts either or both of the amplitude and phase of the distortion produced by the distortion compensation distortion producing means (2-4). Distortion delaying means (5) delays the distortion prior to or after adjustment by the distortion adjusting means (6). Distribution compensation distortion component-containing signal producing means (8) produces a signal containing the components of the distortion for distortion compensation from both the distortion as adjusted by the distortion adjusting means (6) and delayed by the distortion delaying means (5) and from the other of the two signals distributed from the distribution means (1). The amplifiers (9,10) amplify the signal produced by the distribution compensation distortion component-containing signal producing means (8).
