Abstract:
A pre-stressed steel wire rope-based flexure- and shear-strengthening concrete T beam (L), comprising a strengthening system provided on the concrete T beam (L). The strengthening system comprises a steel wire rope (4), multiple flexure-strengthening steel plate (8) provided at a bottom portion of the concrete T beam (L), and multiple steel angles (1) horizontally fixed to two sides of a web of the concrete T beam (L). Multiple bolt holes are provided on one side of each steel angle (1) in a longitudinal direction thereof, an adjustable bolt (2) is disposed in each bolt hole, and the adjustable bolt (2) has one end provided with a circular ring member (21). The steel wire rope (4) passes around the bottom portion of the beam, then two ends thereof respectively pass through the corresponding circular ring members (21), and the steel wire rope is tensioned. A protection system is further provided on an outer side of the strengthening system. The concrete T beam (L) of the present invention provides superior flexural and shear strength and load carrying capability without a weight increase.
