Abstract:
The present invention relates to a precast concrete culvert, which comprises: a body including an outer peripheral face, an inner peripheral face forming a hollow space for a flow path, and first and second coupling faces provided at either side of the outer and inner peripheral faces, wherein a duct way is formed by connecting the first and second coupling faces closely positioned to each other; insert slots including a number of first and second slots, wherein the first insert slots are formed to have a preset depth into edges of the first coupling faces adjacent to the outer or inner peripheral face of the body and the second insert slots are formed to have a preset depth into edges of the second coupling faces adjacent to the outer or inner peripheral face of the body; a first fixing member mounted to the first insert slot; a second fixing member mounted to the second insert slot; and a coupling adjustment means coupled to the first and second fixing members to thereby provide the coupling force in a direction such that the first and second coupling faces are closely adhered to each other. This simple configuration of the precast concrete culvert according to the present invention facilitates the manufacture thereof. Also, the mutual coupling between the culverts is readily attained only with the simple manipulation through the means for adjusting the coupling force. Furthermore, as the coupling force is continuously applied to the coupling faces that are mutually coupled, it is possible to maintain a high water seal even when disparity sinking occurs.
