Abstract:
A prediction model generation unit of this prediction system includes: a means for, among a plurality of state values associated with learning samples for use in generating a prediction model, determining one or more state values as explanatory variables on the basis of importance levels for the learning samples; a means for sequentially differentiating sections included in a search section and evaluating prediction accuracies by the determined explanatory variables so as to determine a section for use in prediction; and a means for sequentially differentiating model parameters for defining the prediction model and evaluating a plurality of indicators regarding the prediction model defined by the model parameters, under conditions of the determined explanatory variables and the determined section, so as to determine a model parameter for defining the prediction model.
