Abstract:
One of the purposes of the present invention is to provide a preform feeding unit capable of effectively feeding even wide mouth preforms, in a state of alignment, to machines for subsequent processes such as blow molding machines. This preform feeding unit is provided with: an alignment chute (80) that has guide members (83, 84), the incline of which causes a plurality of preforms (P) to slide under their own weight and guides the preforms into a preform alignment delivery unit (39); and a preform alignment delivery unit (39), that delivers the preforms (P) guided by the alignment chute (80) in a state aligned in a single row. A groove is formed in the guide members (83, 84) along the direction of the incline, and the inner wall surface of the groove has a shape that causes the preforms (P) sliding down within the grooves to align in a single row.
