Abstract:
A preparation method for edible and biodegradable environment-friendly tableware. Principles of internal-source diffusion and polymer crosslinking are used to prepare edible tableware such as a straw, a cup and a bowl from a microscopic level. Materials of the tableware may be quickly degraded under natural conditions without composting. In the aspect of material acquisition, raw materials such as carrageenan and sodium alginate have wide and stable sources, are good substitutes for cereal starch, wood and the like, and are low in material cost.
