Abstract:
A preparation method for improving the compression strength of a permanent magnetic ferrite arc magnet, comprising the following steps: wet ball milling, magnetic field forming, sintering, grinding machining, compression strength testing and calculation of the rate of finished products. The particle size distribution of a slurry is controlled, and the ratio of micro-size particles to large-size particles is reduced, so that the particle size consistency is improved, and the grain abnormal growth probability during sintering is reduced, reducing the lattice defect probability, and reducing the grain size, thereby avoiding transgranular fracture when a bending load is borne, greatly lengthening a transgranular fracture crack path, and improving the compression strength; by adding a self-made liquid dispersant to a ferrite slurry before being subjected to magnetic field forming, the fluidity of the slurry is improved, so that the density consistency of an arc magnet blank is improved, and the shrinkage rate of points of the blank tends to be consistent during sintering, reducing a surface pulling force, and avoiding micro-crack propagation caused by the surface pulling force, thereby improving the compression strength of an arc magnet product, and reducing the arc magnet cracking probability.
