Abstract:
A preparation method for an in-situ Al2O3 particle reinforced aluminum matrix composite, comprising the following steps: step 1, mixing and ball milling aluminum powder and nano zinc oxide; step 2, adding the ball-milled mixed powder to aluminum-magnesium alloy melt under semi-solid stirring, performing heat preservation, and then casting to obtain an aluminum matrix composite preform; step 3, each time taking some of previously prepared preform materials and applying a cyclic impact effect, and repeating step 3 on the remaining materials until all the materials are impacted; and step 4, remelting the impacted composite, adjusting alloy components, and casting to obtain the in-situ Al2O3 particle reinforced aluminum matrix composite. The method can solve the problem of reinforcement particle aggregation in the composite preparation process, particles of the prepared composite are uniformly dispersed, the interface between reinforcement particles and a matrix is clean, and excellent performance is achieved.
