Abstract:
This preparation method for a nucleic acid sample derived from the skin stratum corneum comprises the following: extracting nucleic acids from the stratum corneum sampled from the surface of the skin and preparing a water-soluble alcohol aqueous solution containing the nucleic acids; bringing the nucleic acids in the water-soluble alcohol aqueous solution into contact with a solid-phase material and isolating the nucleic acids; and amplifying, or reverse transcribing and amplifying, the isolated nucleic acids in the presence of a single-stranded nucleic acid binding protein to prepare a nucleic acid sample.
