Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a preparation method for a trans-cyclobutane phthalate and a derivative thereof. The preparation method comprises: in an organic solvent, utilizing an organic alkaline at 50-90 °C to catalyze a substrate having the structure as represented by structural formula I to undergo isomerization to produce trans-cyclobutane phthalate or a derivative thereof, where structural formula I is: (I), R1, R2, R3, and R4 respectively and independently are any among hydrogen or C1-C5 alkyls, and, R5 and R6 respectively and independently are any among C1-C10 alkyls and benzyls. The employment of the organic alkaline serving as a catalyst for catalyzing the trans-cyclobutane phthalate or the derivative thereof having the structure of structural formula I allows an isomerization reaction to take place at 50-90 °C, the one-step isomerization reduces process steps, is highly efficient and convenient, has mild reaction conditions, and obviates the need for special equipment, thus facilitating scale-up production, and allowing substrate conversion rate and product yield of 70% or more or even 80% or more to be implemented in scale-up production.
