Abstract:
An HCU (100) is used in a host vehicle (Am) capable of traveling by an automatic driving function and serves as a presentation control device which controls presentation of information pertaining to the automatic driving function. The HCU (100) ascertains whether or not driving assistance control, in which a driver of the host vehicle (Am) is obliged to monitor the surroundings, can be shifted to autonomous travel control, in which the driver is not obliged to monitor the surroundings, and whether or not lane change is performed by the automatic driving function in a state with the obligation to monitor the surroundings. When shifting to the autonomous travel control has become possible in an LC control period in which lane change is performed by the driving assistance control, a level-3-available notification which indicates that shifting to the autonomous travel control is possible is provided during the LC control period.
