Abstract:
A clutch unit (45) includes: a first clutch tooth (47) that rotates integrally with a first rotating element included in a speed reducer (31); a second clutch tooth (48) that rotates integrally with a second rotating element included in the speed reducer (31); and a fixed clutch tooth (46) that moves between the first clutch tooth (47) and the second clutch tooth (48). The fixed clutch tooth (46) is provided with the following switchable operational modes: a first mode in which the fixed clutch tooth (46) meshes with only the first clutch tooth (47) to fix the first rotating element, thereby operating the speed reducer (31) at a second speed reduction ratio; a second mode in which the fixed clutch tooth (46) meshes with only the second clutch tooth (48) to fix the second rotating element, thereby operating the speed reducer (31) at a first speed reduction ratio; and a double engagement mode in which the fixed clutch tooth (46) meshes with the first clutch tooth (47) and the second clutch tooth (48) during the transition between the first mode and the second mode.
