Abstract:
Provided is an on-press-developing planographic printing plate original plate comprising a supporting body and an image-recording layer provided on the supporting body. The image-recording layer contains a polymerization initiator, an infrared absorbent, a chromogenic body precursor, and an aid capable of giving electrons to the infrared absorbent. A polymer having an ethylenically unsaturated group and a water-soluble monofunctional monomer are present on the surface of the supporting body on the side of the image-recording layer, a layer that is in contact with the supporting body on the side of the image-recording layer but excluding the image-recording layer contains a polymer having an ethylenically unsaturated group and a water-soluble monofunctional monomer, or a layer that is in contact with the supporting body on the side of the image-recording layer but excluding the image-recording layer contains a polymer having an ethylenically unsaturated group while the image-recording layer contains a water-soluble monofunctional monomer. Also provided are a method for producing a planographic printing plate and a planographic printing method, which use the on-press-developing planographic printing plate original plate.
