Abstract:
Provided is a press-forming method which can suppress the occurrence of deformation on the bottom side of a workpiece when forming a bottomed cylindrical container from a flat plate by performing a press drawing step multiple times using a plurality of dies having a long-hole-like forming hole. A first press drawing step S11 is performed by using a first die 71A having a long-hole-like first forming hole 73A, and is configured as a press drawing step performed at least once anytime but the final time. A second press drawing step S2 is performed by using a second die 71B having a long-hole-like second forming hole 73B, and is configured as the next press drawing step after the first press drawing step. The first forming hole 73A is formed to have a greater dimension in the width direction Y perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X than the second forming hole 73B, and is formed to be puckered toward the inside in the width direction Y from both end sides in the longitudinal direction over the center side.
