Abstract:
The present invention relates to a press for forming an O-ring and, more specifically, to a press for forming an O-ring, in which a rectangular mold having a width larger than that of the press for forming an O-ring mainly used in semiconductor equipment can be used in the press. Furthermore, the press for forming an O-ring, according to the present invention, comprises: a foldable mold for forming an O-ring having a shape in which the foldable mold can be opened or closed by rotating an upper mold around the rotary shaft of the upper edge at the rear surface of a lower mold; a press part for pressing the mold while heating the mold; a mold transfer part for moving the mold a predetermined distance at the lower part of the press so as to withdraw the same; a movement limiting part protruded to the upper part of the mold transfer part so as to control the movement distance of the mold according to the size of the mold; and a holding means for fixing one side of the upper mold to the front surface of the press part of the press so as to prevent accidents caused by the rotation of the upper mold when the mold is opened.
