Abstract:

This press-molded article manufacturing method comprises: a first step of pressing a blank using a first press device to form a first intermediate-molded article which includes a pair of bend portions bent toward one side in a plate thickness direction, the bend portions having an interval narrower than a width of a top plate and at least equal to a width of an apex portion of a convex portion; and a second step of forming a second intermediate-molded article having a vertical wall formed by means of a second die and a second punch, wherein, in a state in which the one side in the plate thickness direction of the first intermediate-molded article is disposed on a convex portion side of a second press device and in which a portion between the bend portions is sandwiched between a die pad protruding from the second die toward the second punch and the convex portion, the second die is moved toward the second punch relative to the die pad and the second punch.
