Abstract:
The present invention provides press-machining technology for reducing the tensile residual stress at the sheared end face of a metal sheet after press-forming in order to prevent the occurrence of delayed fractures in the sheared end face. A pressed component manufacturing method for manufacturing a pressed component by press-forming a metal sheet having a sheared end face, said method comprising: a first press-forming step for estimating the occurrence of tensile residual stress in a direction along the sheared edge of part of the sheared end face of the metal sheet after release from a die; and, as a step subsequent to the first press-forming step, a tensile residual stress relaxing step (5) for extending, in the sheet thickness direction, a region that at least includes the sheared end face location where the occurrence of said tensile residual stress is estimated.
