Abstract:
A pressing device and a separation method for use in the extraction of volatile oil from mangosteen shells. The pressing device comprises a base, a positioning pipe, which is fixedly mounted above the base, a filter pressing pipe, which is fixedly arranged at one end of the positioning pipe, a helical rod, which is movably arranged inside the positioning pipe and the filter pressing pipe, and a first electric motor, which is used for driving the helical rod to rotate, wherein the filter pressing pipe has an inner diameter less than that of the positioning pipe; a circumferential side of the filter pressing pipe is provided with multiple filter holes; a first filter component with pressure resistance and anti-clogging capacity is fixedly provided between the positioning pipe and the filter pressing pipe; a second filter component is provided on the filter pressing pipe; a rolling groove and a liquid guide chamber are formed inside the first filter component; the first filter component comprises an inner half-pipe and an outer half-pipe, which are fixedly mounted between the positioning pipe and the filter pressing pipe, and a rolling ball, which is movably arranged inside the rolling groove; and the rolling groove, the rolling ball and an oil guide groove are cooperated for filtering. In the pressing device, the inner half-pipe and the outer half-pipe are provided, so that the overall pressure resistance of the first filter component is improved, and thus no deformation will occur during the pressing process of mangosteen shells; and oil is discharged through a gap between the rolling ball and the rolling groove and also through the oil guide groove, and the rolling ball rolls in the rolling groove so that impurities attached to the rolling groove can be squeezed out by means of rolling, thus not causing clogging of the rolling groove.
