Abstract:
During operation, a pressure element (03) for a printing machine can be placed over a strip (06) on a co-operating rotating body (01) and forms a printing position therewith. Said pressure element (03) comprises, at least in the region co-operating with the rotating body (01) or the strip (06), a plurality of openings for the discharge of a pressurised, gaseous fluid, which, during operation, forms a gaseous cushion between a surface of the pressure element (03) and the strip (06).
