Abstract:
A pressure relief device for a high-pressure vessel of the present invention divides the inside of a chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber, includes a gap portion formed between a piston member for opening and closing an outlet and the inner surface of the chamber to maintain the internal pressure of the first chamber and the second chamber at the same pressure, wherein when a fusible alloy is melted and a gas outlet is opened, a pressure difference is generated between the first chamber and the second chamber, and the piston is retracted and the outlet is opened to release the pressure of the high-pressure vessel, thereby preventing explosion of the high-pressure vessel.
