Abstract:
The invention relates to a container containing a liquid and/or gaseous medium which has a negative pressure or develops a negative pressure during transportation or storage. The cylindrical container cover (101) is made primarily from a paper or cardboard-based material and is closed at the bottom by a base element and on the top by a cover. The container can withstand an internal pressure of at least 5 bar. The inner-most layer of the container cover (101) comprises a straight, wound barrier layer (102) which has a fold which folds with itself and which extends in the longitudinal direction of the container. The barrier layer (102) is a prefabricated laminate made from an inner diffusion-tight barrier film or from an inner diffusion-tight barrier laminate (108) and an outer kraft paper layer (107).
