Abstract:
(1) A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising as the base an elastomer having a foam structure (such as a closed-cell one) formed by adding thereto a blowing agent or an expandable resin and heating the resulting mixture; (2) a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising as the base an elastomer containing hollow beads; and (3) a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet comprising a support constituted of a nonwoven fabric alone or a combination thereof with a resin layer, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on the surface of the nonwoven fabric, which is suitable for tying wire harnesses. In the above tape or sheet (3), the compositions (1) and (2) can be used as the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The above constitution brings about excellent sound-damping qualities and other effects.
