Abstract:
An acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which are excellent in terms of adhesiveness, high-temperature holding property, load resistance, and impact resistance even in application to poorly bondable resins represented by polyoxymethylene (POM; polyacetals) can be provided. This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises an acrylic copolymer (A) and a crosslinking agent (B) and has a tackiness index of 1.5×10-2 to 2.0×10-2, the tackiness index being represented by the reciprocal of the cube root of the product of a, b, and c, where a is a theoretical glass transition temperature (theoretical Tg; unit, K) of the acrylic copolymer (A), b is the weight-average molecular weight (×104) of the acrylic copolymer (A), and c is the proportion (percentage with respect to the total mass of all the monomer ingredients; unit, %) of one or more monomers (AHTg) each having a glass transition temperature (Tg') of 273-437 K in the monomer ingredients for the acrylic copolymer (A).
