Title:
PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY AND HORN FOR A VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/110352
Kind Code:
A9
Abstract:
In order to enable in particular a displacement-free probe assembly, preferably a horn for a motor vehicle, which is easy to install and inexpensive, a pressure sensor assembly (2) is provided, which has a printed circuit board assembly (3) comprising a printed circuit board (4) having conductive tracks (14A, B, C) disposed thereon. In order to detect pressure, a number of piezo elements (6) having electrodes (10) is provided, and each of the electrodes (10) is conductively connected to a conductive track (14A, 14B). Evaluating electronics (16) and a plug (18) for connection to an on-board power supply system are preferably integrated directly in the printed circuit board (4). Owing to the virtually displacement-free pressure sensor assembly (2), a fixedly arranged trim element (32) can be provided as a cover having a homogeneous surface structure.
