Abstract:

A print control device (100) suppressing limitation of a print range includes a division section (101a) for acquiring print data (401) and dividing it into a plurality of division data files (104a), a R/W section (101b) for reading/writing the plurality of division data files (104a) from/to a storage section (104), a detection section (101c) for detecting whether read by the R/W section (101b) has been executed normally for each of the division data files (104a), and a file processing section (101d) for outputting the division data file (104a) detected to have been read out normally, to a printer engine (200) and causing to print what is contained in the division data file (104a) among the contents contained in the print data (401).
