Abstract:
[Problem] With a conventional device, rendering is performed only after every piece of component information is on hand, making the process of completing the configuration of a final product a time-consuming one. [Solution] Provided is a print server device comprising: a component information storage unit wherein is stored two or more instances of component information in association with print object identifiers for identifying print objects; a component image storage unit wherein is stored two or more component images associated with the two or more instances of component information; a rendering unit for performing rendering on one or more instances of the component information stored in the component information storage unit and acquiring the component images; a component image accumulation unit for accumulating in the component image storage unit the component images acquired by the rendering unit; and a print object configuration unit for configuring a print object by compositing two or more of the component images stored in the component image storage unit. By means of the above, it is possible to rapidly configure a finalized print object after all of two or more instances of component information constituting a single print object are on hand.
