Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for manufacturing a printed wiring board and a printed wiring board that do not cause fiber flocks when the printed wiring board is cut off and can prevent fuzzing. A method for manufacturing a printed wiring board according to the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a sheet material 16 including a cloth-like object 26 woven by reinforced fibers 20 to have an angle of 90 degrees between warps 22 and wefts 24; arranging the sheet material 16 in a cutting-out device so that the sheet material 16 is inclined to one of left and right sides at an angle of 5 degrees or more and 30 degrees or less with respect to threads constituting the cloth-like object 26 and cut with a cutting part crossing the cloth-like object constituting threads arranged side by side at a cutting blade 100 at an angle of 5 degrees or more and 30 degrees of less; cutting out a sheet material from the inclined sheet material 16 with the cutting part crossing the cloth-like object constituting threads arranged side by side at the cutting blade 100; forming the sheet material having a peripheral edge part crossing the cloth-like constituting threads at an angle of 5 degrees or more and 30 degrees or less; creating a mother laminate plate 50 in which the sheet material 16 is constituted as an inner layer base material or an insulating base material; and applying a conductor pattern 80 to a metal layer of the mother laminate plate along a peripheral edge part of the mother laminate plate 50.
