Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a printer with which a highly designed printed article can be obtained. [Solution] A printer comprising: a transferred object sending section 15 that sends a transferred object 10 downstream; a transfer film sending section 25 that sends a transfer film 20 downstream; a printing device 300 that is disposed on the downstream side of the transfer film sending section 25 and that prints a transfer image on the transfer film 20; a holding section 60 that is disposed on the downstream side of the transferred object sending section 15 and the printing device 300, that superposes and holds the transferred object 10 and the transfer film 20 such that the surface of the transfer film 20 on which the transfer image is printed faces the transferred object 10, and that sends the transferred object 10 and the transfer film 20 downstream; and an affixing section 70 that is disposed downstream of the holding section 60 and that affixes the transfer film 20 on which the transfer image is printed to the transferred object 10.
